about me
Sadie is a queer-identifying creator who has their hands in many different interests. They pursued their undergrad at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, with a passion for journalism and dancing. They received a degree majoring in Gender & Women Studies and minoring in Journalism and Dance Studies.
Sadie has a passion for creating art and primarily focuses on large scale abstract paintings. When they aren’t doing that, they are collaging, junk journaling, rhinestoning, doodling, and sculpting. They aim to use materials in their collection rather then buying new and thrives in the chaos of intuitive art making.
Their longtime passion in modern/contemporary/jazz dance was a perfect match for the Knox College dance education. There, their focus was on the somatic practice of movement and choreography.
Just before moving to Denver, Colorado, Sadie did their first burlesque performance for a local drag show in their college town. Upon moving to Denver in July 2022, they knew they wanted to dive into the bustling burlesque community in Colorado. After taking their first burlesque dance class with Miss Monroe, they heard of an audition for a burlesque troupe based in Denver that was happening in less then 24 hours. On a whim, Sadie auditioned and has been dancing with The Rhinettes, a Denver based burlesque troupe, ever since.
From July 2022 to July 2026, Sadie went by “Sadie Palisade” in the burlesque community. Now, they have created a new alias and proudly go by “Peaches LaFool”.
As for Peaches burlesque journey; Since joining the troupe, Peaches has been able to preform all across the Denver metro area and recently made debuts in New Mexico, Texas, and Las Vegas. Peaches was apart of the group of Rhinettes members that won the “Best Buds” category at Mile High Burlesque Festival in 2026, “Best Overall” and “Neo Art” category at the Mountain Regional Burlypicks in 2025, “Neo Art” at Burlypicks Nationals in 2025, and “Best Large Group” at The Burlesque Hall Of Fame competition in 2026.
Peaches lives to clown around the stage, paying homage to their circus family on their dad’s side.
